McCarty Associates, Architects and Designers were formed in 1990 operating out of the Chepstow office under the direction
of Mac McCarty.

We work all over the country for both individual clients and major blue chip organisations on feasibility studies, sketch schemes, interior
design, alterations, extensions, new builds and project management.

The practice prides itself in providing a close personal service to each and every client, and ensures that each project receives all the
flair, quality and expertise at our disposal under my own supervision. A good working relationship with our clients results in a better
interaction between the building and the end user. Interpreting your needs ensures a rewarding Design Solution to meet the goals of
your project brief.

Creating innovative design solutions within restrictive parameters whether budget, timescale, conservation or preservation ensures loyalty/repeat commissions from our customer base.

We specialise in the licensed trade and their commercial needs in terms of value engineering, individuality, speed of service and procurement gives us an excellent base and expertise to benefit all our clients.

Our management skills and relationship with contractors, developing partners and other members of the project team, results in our
practice being commissioned on other designers’ projects as contract/project administrators.

As a Chartered Architect with over 25 years experience, my practice has all the professional membership and insurances required.

We participate in the 'Architect in the House' scheme which is run jointly by Shelter and the RIBA. This is where Chartered Architects offer
their time for a free consultation and in exchange, the homeowner makes a donation to Shelter.
